A substantialantique oak hall stand / boot room rack, beautifully constructed in solid oak with traditional raised and fielded panelling.

The tall panelled back is fitted withsix large brass coat and hat hooks, with a further brass rail positioned across the lower section for hanging or supporting additional items. Deep shaped sides form the boot and umbrella stand, with azinc-lined drip tray running along the base.

The oak has developed a wonderfully warm colour and patina, with particularly attractive figuring to the grain. Architectural mouldings and extensive panelling give the piece a handsome, substantial appearance.

Originally intended for a large entrance hall or cloakroom, it would be particularly well suited to aboot room, mudroom or utility/bootility room, providing practical storage for coats, hats, walking sticks, umbrellas and boots.

A superb and increasingly difficult-to-find piece of traditional fitted hall furniture, combining generous storage with excellent decorative presence.
