A rare piece to find, these tables were traditional grinding tables. The central holes acted as an integral mortar where grains such as millet would be ground down using long wooden poles as a pestle.
Carved from a single log, the table carries deep cultural significance and showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of indigenous artisans. The stunning piece has a wonderful, rich patina.
