A refined Regency fireplace surround, executed in richly veined verde antico marble and contrasting white statuary marble. The composition is crisply proportioned, with slender jambs in deep green marble framed by pale marble returns, supporting a clean-lined  shelf.

The frieze is centred by a finely carved neoclassical floral basket tablet, delicate carvings  retain strong definition throughout.
