An impressive pair of antique wrought iron Victorian gates. A rare find, these gates are substantial enough in width to allow vehicles to pass through.
Of classic Victorian form, with a gently arched top rail and repeating fleur-de-lys finials throughout. The design is both structured and decorative: vertical bars are punctuated by a central band of smaller cresting, while the lower section incorporates elegant intersecting scrollwork, creating a series of shallow arches across each leaf. The proportions are well balanced, with a refined upward sweep to the top line.
