A refined Edwardian marble fireplace surround, dating to the early 20th century, carved from fine Carrara marble and enriched with Giallo odi Siena marble.

The surround is architecturally composed with thumbnail detailed jambs with a trio of warm Siena buttons and a well-proportioned frieze centred with a circular rouge marble dome. The restrained palette and delicate ornament reflect the Edwardian preference for classical clarity with subtle decorative contrast.
