This elegant fireplace has carved thumbnail details and delicately carved floral motifs across the frieze. Well-defined acanthus leaf carved and scrolled jambs with end paterae support the lintel and breakfront mantel shelf.

Large and striking, this original 19th Century, marble chimneypiece offers a handsome feature for an interior renovation. The French-style fire surround has shaped and fluted jambs and is completed by the brass air vents to each side.
