A beautiful antique solid pine door featuring a large decorative stained glass panel with a hand-painted bird roundel.
The upper half of the door contains a striking leaded glass design composed of textured and coloured glass in greens, ambers and reds. At the centre sits a circular panel depicting a bird perched among foliage, delicately painted in warm autumnal tones and framed by deep red glass.
Surrounding the central roundel is a geometric arrangement of coloured and textured glass typical of late Victorian or Edwardian decorative glazing. The glass includes hammered and lightly textured panes which diffuse light attractively while retaining privacy.
