A substantial and striking fireplace surround with ornate carvings and crafted from statuary marble.

This original Victorian fireplace features carved floral bouquets repeated down the length of each jamb, swell as carved leaf detailing to the central Keystone. The wide stepped and moulded bevelled shelf sits above the arched opening with its central decorative keystone and carved spandrels flanked by a pair of wide panelled inset jambs.

The surround has been photographed with the original tiled insert it was paired with.
