Mid-Century Mobile Under-Desk Filing Drawers

A vintage, 1950s mahogany drawer unit salvaged from the Metropolitan Police headquarters, New Scotland Yard, before it relocated.

The piece features a dark leatherette top and solid wood frame. The unit has a very interesting provenance and offers a functional and robust piece of furniture suitable for storing files and stationery in the office space.

The simple geometric structure is a fine example of furniture design produced during the mid-century period.

This unit teams with the desks that were also reclaimed from New Scotland Yard.
