A fine example of Victorian craftsmanship and quality, this drop leaf, Sutherland table has rich patination to the mahogany and elegant form.
It occupies a small space when the leaves are folded down.
Comprised of solid Oak groundwork with a moulded edge raised on fluted, turned end supports terminating in carved cabriole legs and castors united by a turned stretcher. The slim turned folding legs fold in so the leaves drop-down to make it an extremely slim table that takes up no room, which is the main concept of Sutherland tables.
The two plank leaves form an oval top when in use.
