An antique Victorian binocular compound microscope in brass. This wonderfully original piece of scientific equipment was produced by Henry Crouch. The microscope features a pattern tube which is engraved, a rack, pinion coarse focusing, intercocular eyepiece adjustment, fine focusing with wheel-operated lever on the nosepiece, a mirror on swing-arm mounted on tube and Y-foot. The microscope is presented in a beautiful mahogany carry case. Numbered as '467', the piece is engraved with the following address: '54 London Wall, London'.
