PRODUCT ID: ZZ157
We have five pieces of eighteenth century, antique, pine sprung moulding which would have possibly been used as a coving or cornice. This moulding comprises of an ovolo central section flanked by cavetto and ogee or cyma reversa to one side, and lamb's tongue or cyma recta to the other. Combinations of this type of moulding were typical of old architectural woodwork made in pine from the early 18th century to the early 20th century (where it is less common but can still be found).
