Antique Georgian Wrought Iron and Marble Radiator Cover | Console Table

A magnificent ornate Georgian cast iron radiator cover with a marble top.

This spectacular piece was reclaimed from a property at London's Carlton House Terrace. The houses on the terrace are so prestigious that most are owned by the Crown Estate.

Demonstrating the true craftsmanship of the era, the ornate wrought iron is of complex and intricate design. The metalwork has the addition of gilding, picking out details and adding to the overall opulence of the piece.

The carrara marble top provides a non-conductive surface allowing this piece to also be used as a console table.

This grand piece of functional metalwork would make for a striking feature to both a contemporary property project or period renovation.
