Commonwealth Institute Flag Poles

Reclaimed aluminium coated flagpoles. We have a number of these flagpoles that were reclaimed from the Grade II Listed 'Commonwealth Institute' in Kensington, London. The Commonwealth Institute building was regarded by English Heritage as the second most important modern building in London, after the Royal Festival Hall. These flagpoles were originally erected in 1962 as a tribute to the countries trading under the Commonwealth and feature hinged base plates and brass finials. The poles are being sold individually.
