Antique Georgian Pencil Vein Marble Chimneypiece

PRODUCT ID: LACEY

This late Georgian early Victorian Carrara marble surround is a  particularly attractive chimneypiece crafted from Pencil Vein marble.

This elegant antique 'crossover' design (where the lintel sits completely across both legs) was very typical of the period and delivers an understated design.

Because of its simplicity, the surround would suit a number of inserts both ornate and plain or indeed a fire basket. The images show the surround teamed with an Antique Georgian Insert
