Reclaimed pine floorboards. These former Douglas fir roofing boards make for ideal floor boards and come rough sawn.
Pictured is a sanded board which shows the smooth surface quality that is achievable and can be finish to any desired effect. Douglas fir has a prominent and large scale grain which suits staining very well.
