SALVO FAIR SETTING UP: MASSIVE DECORATIVE PUB MIRRORS

SALVO FAIR SETTING UP: MASSIVE DECORATIVE PUB MIRRORS

Today on the Salvo Fair site, from Architectural Forum, Islington, came one of a few stunning Victorian pub mirrors. The mirrors stand around six foot high and are covered in gilded decorative lettering and borders. They were displayed at an exhibition in Whitechapel in 1951 for the Festival of Britain.

Tomorrow's Trade Day starts at 11am and entry is £15. Public days are Saturday and Sunday and admission is £8 on these days. Location is Knebworth House, twenty five miles north of London.
