ICONIC VICTORIAN LONDON PUB MIRRORS AT SALVO FAIR

The Architectural Forum is bringing an iconic set of Victorian pub mirrors to Salvo Fair which appeared in a unique Festival of Britain show at Whitechapel Gallery in 1951 curated by artist Barbara Jones and called 'Black Eyes and Lemonade'.

This exceptional forty feet run of six antique mahogany framed pub mirrors was removed from a pub in Bermondsey. The mirrors are acid etched, with traditional gold leaf lettering, and gilded Corinthian capitals to the frames, which forms an overall ensemble 38ft long and 9ft high available for a cool £18,000.

The Salvo Fair is on at Knebworth on Fri 24th June (Trade Only) and open to the public on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June from 11am - 5pm (last admission 4pm).
